Watch the video for the new MacBook.
I am not a Mac owner. I haven’t used a Mac in any significant way since about 1994. However, I have friends who have Macs, we do have one at the office for testing (that I have only used once) and I am sort of obsessed. My husband uses one at work and recently told me of the sexy experience he had when someone ordered an iMac and how gorgeous everything was in the box. Remembering what it was like when I got my big giant Dell desktop a few years ago, when I had to go to UPS and pick up the 3 very large boxes with all of the components, this is so attractive to me.
It doesn’t hurt that all of the cool kids use Macs either.
However, my main reason for wanting to go to Mac is that I’m a photographer. I have heard nothing but great praise for Macs utilizing Photoshop and other creative programs, which intrigues me. I would also like to be able to get the Time Capsule, an absolute necessity on my eyes. My household is currently on its second external hard drive. The first one we bought was 150 GB, but with 2 DSLRs, that was quickly full. We purchased a second external drive (500GB) and I haven’t checked in a while to see what damage has been done there.
Mostly I just want one, but I want someone else to buy it for me. What’s wrong with that?
