Yesterday I was going through a big pile of mail and I located this lovely message from the DC Metro Police Department. Apparently I (or rather, my car) was caught speeding on the way back home from Florida. I see this as an easy way for the DC Metro police to make money. Since they photographed the car and didn’t stop, I might not be driving. However, the car is registered to me so I am not the winner. My husband and I don’t remember who was driving, and we can’t tell from the photos.
WAIT! I just saw the information on how to see the bigger images online, and I was NOT the driver. It’s very sneaky though, as long as you pay the fine, they don’t do anything else, they don’t give points or anything.
So, technology has failed me today, when I was on the verge of writing the first in a series of entries about techy things and websites that I love. I imagine this will have to wait until tomorrow.
