Either Facebook doesn&#039;t understand (or care) how its users choose to interact with its service, or they presume everyone wants to use it the exact same way.

Which is ironic, since once of the cardinal rules of social media is to &quot;listen to your audience,&quot; yet Facebook continually nudges its users in the direction it wants them to follow, so as to maximize its own profit. Oh, the atrocities when desire and commerce collide...</description>
