My movie-watching continues. I tried watching a Twilight parody but it was hideous and I turned it off.
Then moved on to some 80s childhood greatness, by watching the following.
#3: Rainbow Brite & The Star Stealer (available on Netflix to watch instantly)

Rainbow Brite and The Star Stealer is only available from Amazon Sellers.
I found Rainbow Brite and The Star Stealer when I was searching through Netflix, trying to find some movies I was interested in seeing for this 100 films project. It caught my eye because I am a child of the 80s and was a huge fan of Rainbow Brite. My husband didn’t know anything about the story and I talked to him about it a bit and read him some of the backstory from Wikipedia.
The movie is adorable. Rainbow Brite and her really self-centered horse, Starlite, investigate some issues with the arrival of spring (and all of the color that comes along with it) and find out that the cause is a bitchy princess who wants a big diamond. I won’t spoil the rest of the film, but I’d say that if you were a fan of Rainbow Brite in the 80s, then go ahead and take a gander at this movie on Netflix instant watch. If you have a kid, you might want to buy it so that they too can enjoy the story over and over, just like we did.
97 movies to go.
