Continuing this project, I’m cheating a bit because I did watch the second movie the other day, but I’m covering both because I love both movies. I will count them as only one though.
5. The Princess Diaries & The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (these movies are not available to stream on Netflix Instant Watch)
The Princess Diaries is adorable. Little Anne Hathaway plays the awkward girl who meets her grandmother, finds out that she’s a princess and gets a fabulous makeover. Oh but she’s the same girl inside! Anyway, I completely love this movie and already own the DVD as my darling husband bought it for me (along with the sequel) for Christmas a few years ago. This is a gift movie for sure, there are great messages for girls in this movie and hello, it has Julie Andrews. She’s an icon!

The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement is not as good as the first one, but has good moments and a lot of fabulous looks on Anne Hathaway – and the princess/queen wardrobe is something I am definitely into. (Hello, Kate Middleton.) The movie is another with a great message for girls and I would definitely give the set of movies as a gift.
